Because one image says more than a thousand words.

Didn’t even realize I’d dinged, until I saw that oh-so-familiar-light lighten my screen. Was quite happy though, as I thought it’d take at-least 1 hour or so until I leveled.
I am also HC ready, only had to do a quick stop by the AH and pick up some upgrades to replace my greens with. As of this writing I am currently iLevel 331, which I’m told, is quite a bit too low for bears to tank on. The ones who said that apparently didn’t know how to use CD’s ;).

I’m quite happy with myself for another thing also. I finally sold my 34 frozen orbs, that I’ve had for God knows how long, just sitting there in my inventory/bank. They sold for around 9g50s each, so it was quite a hefty sum all-in-all. I don’t know what else to type here for the moment, really just came on to share my level-up and a small status update!

If anyone reads this, I’d be glad for some comments, even if it’s just a small “hi” ;o.

And chili-chips are sooo tasty..

And the grind begins

1 Bar.

That’s exactly how much exp you get out of Stonecore on 84. It’s low, but when you do it with the awesome group I had, it’s well worth it! I mean, who doesn’t want to tank almost the whole room before Ozruk, but not in small pulls but in a big one? And survive? I sure as hell do, and that’s what I did. We had the most awesome healer (Shaman FYI) and dps I’ve seen so-far on my bear. And we made it!

By the way, have you ever heard that rogues now can queue as off-tanks for Vortex Pinnacle? No? Well, we had one today, and she got to eat each and every one that got thrown in our Vortex run today. Every single one. I can tell you, she was really pissed in the end!

On the Stonecore run though, she actually managed to avoid all the gimmicks, such as the brutes stuns, the charges from the berserkers in the start, and still managed to interrupt all key skills (Earthshapers evolved, anyone?). But yes, 1 bar.. I feel this’ll be a looong grind to 85. Though I don’t complain. I get to experience all those awesome groups (And all the bad ones but hey, I’m awesome enough for everyone!)

On a serious note though..

I like pancakes!

Damn this song is screaming my ears to pieces..

Where were I..? Oh, yes, awesomeness.. I feel kinda hyped for the 4.1 patch, regarding tank-a-bears (Paladins get to be called tankadins, so why not..?), since the CD on Swipe will be lowered! So finally we can perhaps, maybe, hopefully, hold snap AoE aggro in groups with trigger happy dps?

It’s not really a problem at the moment though, since most healers just let stupid pre-pull-pulling-dps die if I tell them to, and most actually learn or leave. I’m content with either. But yes, it’s not a problem either since most dps actually listen to you if you say you need 3 seconds on AoE pulls. And incase the worst happens, just hit that Challenging Roar.

Or let them die, then growl.

God I’m bad at this stuff..

Anyways, I’ve since long decided to tank from 80 – 85, and it’s actually not that bad. I mean, it’s only taken what..? Umm.. 3 days I think, from 80 – 84, and at ~1 bar/run, I’ll probably be 85 tomorrow or so, and ready to go HC since I’ve already got all normal-mode drops :)!

Looking forward to it.

Anyways, off to eat lunch, drink some coffee so you guys stay safe okay..? Good

Coffee and a dungeon..

.. And some crazy-ass long remix of Deadmau5 – Some Chords (4×4=12 Continuous remix) on a corner.

It doesn’t get better than this.

A smooth run in Vortex Pinnacle, with friendly dps’s that actually do more damage than me on average, and a healer that never seems to go oom, how many mobs I pull. Some credit is on me though, because I’ve actually learned to use my cooldowns properly.

Not that there’s a lot of  ’em for bears compared to some other tanks.

On-topic though, coffee. Whoever came up with the idea of roasting small beans, shredding them to pieces and let them soak in boiling water is a genius and should be rewarded for it, as far as I care.

I mean, it’s like situational awareness in fluid form, with the bonus of making you less tired!

Anyways, I feel I might’ve provided a to slim  amount of information on myself. I’m a soon-to-be-grown-up male, attending my second year in high-school, that likes to play all our favorite game, World of Feralcraft (What..? They changed the name? Or did I fall asleep and dream again >.<..?), hang out with friends and just.. be random with my friends I guess.

And I love tanking. Did I mention that? I mean, not only guild tanking, but even the dreaded ‘Dungeon “Tank-slayer” Finder’. Because every run brings something new, something to make me improve my playstyle and all that jazz.. But point being, it’s fun! So get out there and do random groups, once in a blue moon you get a really good group making it all worth, and when you don’t, most people tend to take it easy if you say you need around 4 – 5 seconds of getting aggro before they go pewpew.

Damn this song is long..

Feels like I’m just going around the same track in this topic. But I guess It’ll get more interesting when I get used to this whole new.. thing.

Anyways, where were I? Oh, right. Coffee.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, and hello!

Okay, cheesy start but.. Hello!

This is my first blog post ever, as a writer that is (I’ve commented plenty and contributed on friends blogs but.. That’s another other story! ), and I want to start with saying thanks to a few people that indirectly made me get my thumb out of my.. Well, you know the saying, so without further ado, here they are!

  • The author of BigBearButt — (Whose name I can’t seem to find, unfortunately.) from here, for those of you who don’t know. (Link opens in new window.)

The reason  for mentioning him, is generally his awesome blog, and specifically this post. Many thanks for you to make a such inspiring post!

  • The second mention I feel is needed, is the author from Manalicious — (Whose name I also cannot find, unfortunately.) from this link. (Also opens in new window.)

Reasoning behind this, is that it’s the first blog I’ve ever read from start to finish (Excluding my own failed attempt on a “Life of ME!” blog.. >.<) because it’s just friggin’ awesome and manalicious 😉

I could pretty much be done here, but since I started I think I’ll have to finish it, right?

This is a seriously helpful blog if you’re at all interested in healing as a priest, or want to understand their mechanics a little bit better. And as every other blog, full of random juicy stuff called gibberish ;).

Again, name is nowhere to be found, but you should really go check them out, ’cause they’re all awesome!

Okay, now time for a little info on what I’ll be covering, or atleast going to try to be covering, in the near future.

My main focus will be that of either a BigBearButt (See what I did there? Huh?), or as a face-melting-bag-of-fur (Well.. ripping and tearing more than melting but..) a.k.a Cat.

You’ll mostly see me commenting about instances, bad groups from a tanks point-of-view (No it won’t all be whine, promise!) and some random gibberish like everything I’ve said sofar has been.

So, for now I bid you farewell, and hope I can satisfy all your needs on whin- err.. constructive critique that I’ll be posting, hopefully for quite some time.
